Morton’s of Chicago first entered the culinary world in 1978 and has since expanded its brand (and mouth-watering steaks) worldwide. In Hong Kong, Morton’s sure knows how to make a trip to Kowloon worth it with their classic staples of steak and seafood. Morton’s of Chicago has recently added six new dishes to their fall “Prime Selections” menu, making a visit an absolute must if you’re in the market for quality food and service, a beautiful view of the harbour, and an overall wonderful dining experience. This wasn’t my first time dining at Morton’s (check out my review on Morton’s happy hour) and it certainly won’t be my last.
A weekend in Hong Kong just wouldn’t be a weekend if you didn’t choose to gorge yourself during one of the days. Thankfully, there’s no shortage of breakfast, brunch, or lunch options in Hong Kong. However, if you’re in the mood to take your weekend eating to a whole other level, the W Hotel Buffet at the Kitchen restaurant is where you ought to go. Not only is the restaurant itself refreshingly spacious with its large seating area and views over the harbour, but the plethora of food on offer might be slightly overwhelming for those who lack serious self-control when it comes to food (AKA me).
As summer is upon us in Hong Kong (as I’m sure we can all painfully feel the second we step outside and into a brick wall of humidity), the majority of my coworkers are heading back to Canada, where the weather will be much more forgiving and enjoyable. In lieu of this, we decided to enjoy a nice Sunday afternoon tea buffet at W Hotel.
