Now that Hong Kong has been blessed with two of Jamie Oliver’s restaurants; one on the island side in Causeway Bay and one on Kowloon side in Tsim Sha Tsui, how are we to make the decision of which to go to?! Fear not my fellow Hong Kongers, I’m here to offer you an unbiased (well, mostly) overview of the Jamie’s Italian branch in CWB and in TST, in terms of location, decor, atmosphere, and food.

Jamie’s Italian Causeway Bay: Funky Vibes, No-Fuss Food, & Reasonable Prices.

Unless you’ve been living under a rock here in Hong Kong, you certainly experienced all the hype that surrounded the opening of Jamie’s Italian in Causeway Bay just under a year ago. Only recently did I have an opportunity to finally dine at Jamie’s Italian Causeway Bay (after I had just been to the opening of Jamie’s Italian TST the other week!). This is a fun spot to go on a casual dinner date or for lunch with a group of friends for its modern decor and reliable bites, but try not to set your expectations too high.

Jamie Oliver Has Done It Again: Jamie’s Italian TST

Jamie’s Italian, by renowned chef Jamie Oliver, is a well-known chain of restaurants that have been rapidly popping up all over the world. From his first restaurant opening in Oxford in 2008, Jamie has expanded his dining concept of good food at affordable prices to over 30 restaurants worldwide. This is now his second restaurant in Hong Kong within the past year, showing no signs of slowing down. His new location in TST offers all the same tastes as the Causeway Bay branch, but with additional menu options and a very different atmosphere.
